Our First Newsletter!

     Welcome to the Newsletter page. We'll be putting a newsletter together on a weekly basis to hand out to the spectators & racers FREE!  This will be a learning curve for us... it may take a few attempts to get it looking right. This is what our first edition looks like. We have to figure a way to make it readable. Perhaps the pages can be right clicked and enlarged in another format, but that would be too cumbersome to do on a regular basis. We may have to redo it completely for the site. Anybody with website experience? we're open to suggestions.

 

     Basically, the front page introduces newcomers to the 100 foot Drag Race format, and to inform them that Drags are back in Conn. The next page is primarily targeted to businesses that could use the exposure to new potential customers by sponsoring our events for the season by buying ad spots in the newsletter. As a business owner (or club, or in memory of a loved one, etc.), you can be an associate sponsor for as little as $99. Sponsoring  the whole night goes for just $350. Specials are somewhat higher, the Nationals are understandably the most expensive, but will get tremendous amounts of exposure. We are also selling sponsorship for the right and left lanes at $1250 each. For this, each business will have their business name mentioned thousands of times over the course of the season as the announcer names the winner on the "XYZ" lane each time the win light goes on.

     The bigger the package a sponsor becomes involved in, the more perks received. Business names will be on our schedules, printed as well as the website. Banners and/or links of the businesses will also be added to the site. Numerous PA announcements from our track announcer will be heard by all. And don't forget, the free newsletters will find their way into the hands of thousands of spectators, drag racers, and cruise participants.

    

     Below is a way for those on a real tight budget to still be involved. For $20 you can sponsor "1 FOOT OF THE TRACK". Start and Finish lines are $50, and all are split up between left and right lane. There are 200 opportunities available. We will be listing sponsors names on this page. Like above, you can sponsor a lane for bragging rights, or in honor or memory of a loved one.
