Like last year, too many people are waiting until the last minute to buy their tickets, and we can't plan this event properly. 2011 HDRA Banquet
Friday Night, January 20th, 7pm 'til ?
That time has come again for our annual Awards Banquet. Like last year, it will be held again at the Elks Club on Washington Street in New London, CT. Having it on a Friday night, and using the Elk's Club worked well for us last year, so we're going with them again.
Awards will be going to the top 10 in each Eliminator for a total of 30 trophies. Whether you are receiving an award or not, all racers, friends, and fans are welcome to attend. Last year everybody had a great time... it should be the same this year as well.
We will have the tree back to do indoor "racing"... let's see who has the best reaction time! We will also have racing movies on hand as well. Door prizes will be added this year for some lucky winners.
The food will be the same last year as well...buffet style. There seemed to be something for everybody.
